National Board Rep Elections
National Board Rep Elections starts October 15th. Each year you have the opportunity to vote for the NSP National Board of Representatives. This year 12 candidates are running for four open positions. It's important that every patroller participate in this election each year. You can read the platforms and biographies of each candidate on the NSP website. Be an educated voter and a responsible patroller.
Eastern Snow & Avalanche Workshop - November 7
Eastern Snow & Avalanche Workshop (ESAW) and Dinner will be held on Saturday November 7, 2015 at the Omni Mount Washington Resort Grand Ballroom in Bretton Woods, NH. The keynote presentation will be from Rudi Mair, the Director of Avalanche Forecasting in Tyrol Austria. To register, visit www.esaw.org. Boston Ski Show - November 12 - 15
One again, the Eastern Division will have a booth at the 33rd annual Boston ski show. The show runs from November 12 to 15 at the Seaport World Trade Center. Patrollers from around the region volunteer to staff the booth to meet the skiing public, talk about ski safety, and to recruit new patrollers. If your patrol needs new patrollers, please send your patrol contact information to Ingrid Shuttle at firstname.lastname@example.org. Fall Refresher Study Guide Sent
The study guide for the fall refreshers was sent with the summer edition of Ski Patrol Magazine. You are required to bring the completed study guide to your refresher. If you didn't receive it in the mail, you can download it from the NSP site. Contact your patrol refresher instructor of record if you have any questions.
